Amritsar is rapidly evolving into an epicenter for commercial and industrial activities. While such growth is always welcomed, the developers, Signature County Developers Private Limited would like to endeavor to ensure that this development does not come at the expense of our natural resources.
Signature County Developers Pvt. Ltd. have in the past, undertaken tree plantation drives in the city. In continuation of its efforts, the developers had launched the Green Amritsar Campaign last month. The Campaign focusses on tree plantations as an integral part of any infrastructure development, preservation of natural resources through building technology and the creation of awareness of the importance of greenery in any city.
The Green Amritsar Campaign was launched on the site of “Signature Greens” – a premium colony being developed on Ram Tirath Marg, by the developers.
Mr. Bakshi Ram Arora , Hon’ble Mayor of Amritsar was invited as the Chief Guest. Renowned environmentalist and founder of Mission Agaaz Mr. Deepak Babbar, was the Guest of Honour. Amritsar Rotary Club members were amongst the main invitees. Supporting the cause, Mayor Mr. Bakshi Ram Arora along with Mr. Deepak Babbar and Mr. Birender Singh Bhullar, Director Signature County Developers Private Limited participated in a Tree Plantation Session on the site.

for their efforts towards a Greener-Cleaner Amritsar as well as the environmentally friendly features being proposed by the developers in the planning of the colony.
Mr. B. S Arshi , an eminent Rotarian of Amritsar also addressed the crowd and expressed his pleasure on behalf of the entire Rotary Club in collaborating with Signature Greens in such progressive ventures. The guests were presented with mementoes in the form of flower pots to spread the awareness of the campaign even further.
All participants expressed their desire to see similar activities and campaigns by the developers.
